Hand grenade recovered from a train in Kolkata
September 23, 2008 Indian authorities have defused a hand grenade found at Kolkata’s Howrah railway station. The hand grenade was found in a train compartment where luggage was booked. Bomb disposal squad immediately reached the platform No 21 of the station where the train was stationed and defused the grenade. But the news created a scare after that police evacuated the train and the station.
