U.S. to form consortium for Pak economic aid: Rice
September 26, 2008 U.S. secretary of state, Condoleezza Rice Friday assured continuous U.S. support towards improving the economic condition of Pakistan. She held out the assurance while talking to media after conclusion of the Friends of Pakistan Conference here which was attended by G-7 countries besides China, Saudi Arabia and UAE. President Asif Ali Zardari represented Pakistan at the conference. Condoleezza Rice said a consortium will be formed for financial assistance of Pakistan.
