WASHINGTON The U.S. Transportation Security Administration said on Sunday that a passenger on Northwest Airlines flight 253 from Amsterdam to Detroit has been taken into custody at the Detroit airport.
The TSA said Northwest alerted it that a disruptive passenger was on board flight 253, the same flight that a man two days earlier was taken into custody after reportedly trying to light an incendiary device.
The TSA said the plane was being held at a remote location at Detroit airport for more screening after being met by law enforcement officials upon landing safely.
