Bush offers Ramadan greetings
By SPECIAL CORRESPONDENT August 30, 2008 WASHINGTON - US President George W. Bush on Friday offered his greetings to Muslims around the world as they observe the holy month of Ramadan.
"I send greetings to Muslims observing Ramadan in America and around the globe," he said in a statement released by the White House. "Laura and I send our best wishes. Ramadan Mubarak."
