Shahbaz for setting up Danish Schools in FATA

LAHORE - Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said government will extend all out assistance to the displaced persons while high schools will also be established in all the eight agencies of FATA.
He said a fully equipped Danish School will be set up in the area and the site of the school will be selected by a committee of FATA members of the Parliament.
He said a special committee had been formed under the chairmanship of Senior Advisor Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khosa for the assistance of displaced persons of FATA. Members of parliament from FATA will also be inducted in the committee.
He was talking to FATA members of parliaments who called on him at Chief Ministers Secretariat here on Monday.
Federal Minister for Zakat and Ushr Noor-ul-Haq Qadri, Federal Minister for Environment Hameed Ullah Jan Afridi, Minister of State for Kashmir Affairs Abdul Razzaq, Parliamentary Leader of FATA in National Assembly Munir Khan Aurakzai, Senator Engineer Malik Rasheed Ahmad Khan, Members National Assembly Muhammad Kamran Khan, Shaukat Ullah, Zafar Beig Bhattani, Senior Advisor Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa, Law Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan, MNA Hamza Shahbaz Sharif and Senator Ishaq Dar were also present on the occasion.
Talking to FATA parliamentarians, the chief minister said Punjab government will not leave displaced persons of Waziristan and other areas unattended in their hour of need, adding, a three-member committee headed by Senior Advisor Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa and also including FATA members Shaukat Ullah, Zaffar Beig Bhattani, Muhammad Kamran Khan and Engineer Malik Rasheed Ahmad Khan, has already been constituted in this regard.
He said Punjab government would extend cooperation for the provision of modern education facilities in FATA and high schools will be established in all the agencies of FATA including Bajor, Mohmand, Khybar, Aurakzai, Kuram, North Waziristan, South Waziristan and Frontier Agency.
He said Punjab government has started the project of setting up of Danish Schools in remote and backward areas of the province where educational facilities would be made available to the students. He said a Danish School would also be established in FATA as a gift from the people of Punjab to their brethren of FATA. He said FATA members of parliament would select a suitable site and members of board of governors of the Danish School.
The FATA members of parliament thanked the chief minister for the assistance to the displaced person and setting up of high schools in all agencies of FATA besides a Danish School in the area.
He said this spirit of love and brotherhood will further enhance mutual contact between people of Punjab and FATA.
