LAHORE - Overseas Pakistani Community donated a handsome amount, medicines and food items for victims of flood hit areas of the Southern Punjab on the appeal of PMA Lahore, said spokesman of the PMA on Thursday.
Waqar Ahmad Sheikh representing Pakistani community of Oslo (Norway) has donated 30,000 Corona (4 Lac Pakistani Rupee) to PMA to meet the expenses of Tent Village at Kotla Mughlan Jampur.
Cradle For Life International (UK) had already donated 200 Khaimas, food items and medicine for the 500 affected families at Kotli Mughlan.
Earlier the meeting of office-bearers of PMA Lahore decided to expand the Tent Village at Kotla Mughlan Jampur from 200 to 500 families and would continue its full support till the complete rehabilitation of the affectees. The office-bearers also appealed to doctors and philanthropist to donate generously for the flood relief activities.
