Terror begets terror

Wars are hardly the remedies...The deliverance of justice and dignity to the people is the anti-dote to terrorism - religious or otherwise.
It is indeed a miracle of the 21st century that a very formidable Islamic Resistance Force through a 'divine will' has emerged to defeat the two formidable superpowers. Not only did USA encounter defeat in Iraq, Israel in Lebanon, but the combined forces of NATO and USA in the case of war ravaged people of Afghanistan. Their resistance is a function of their rough and tough dispositions and a determined propensity not to reconcile to foreign forces on their land. Being defeated, USA and its allies started demonising them as 'terrorists'. It is a very simplistic world, in which the western powerful media 'constructs' reality, the way it likes. Freedom fighters are 'terrorists', but 'state terrorism' is a legitimate war on terrorism. Propaganda is a weapon, which makes people so gullible to accept reality, what the media saturates the minds with distortions of one sort or another. The 'reality' gets submerged deeper into the debris and irreality masquerades as a 'reality'.
The terrorism expert Jessica Stern, in her book Error in the Name of God, why religious Militants kill: "To begin with it is only Islamist terrorists today that are causing major threats to international security," she said, "but I wanted to include the other religions traditions, because at different points in history, every religion has produced significant armies of religious killers." Another very significant point she makes is the theme of humiliation and marginalisation. "I think that," she says, "that a very important factor, the feeling of humiliation which a [terrorist] leader can strengthen in some cases, can help to construct, the desire of the follower for a new identity with greater dignity, more honour and the way a leader can persuade the follower that the way to achieve that now dignified, honourable identity is through violence." The humiliation among Palestinians is responsible for young ones in their teens, who are willing to become suicide bombers. The Harvard University lecturer Jessica also contends: "I think, the administration did not take on board the notion that the image of Baghdad occupied by US troops and tanks was so deeply humiliating and could be used as a rallying cry for extremists, not just in Iraq but all around the world and recruitment is up as a result."
Will Durant in his classic Story of Civilisation (part IV, Age of Faith, p 232) praises the beauty of Baghdad in the 11th century: "Every where the traveller could see shining domes and sparkling minarates, colleges and libraries, palaces and gardens, hospitals and baths. The poet Anwari wrote a poem Blessed be Baghdad.
"Blessed the site of Baghdad, Seat of learning of art;
None can point in the world to a city her equal;
Her suburbs vie in the beauty with the blue vault of the sky;
Her climate rivals the life-giving breezes of heaven;
Her stones in their brightness rival diamonds and rubies;
