Right approach
December 2, 2008 AS expected, major world capitals have been concerned about the growing tension in the South Asian Subcontinent following the Mumbai terrorist attacks and New Delhi's fingerpointing at Islamabad. Despite Pakistan's conciliatory tone, condemnation of the outrageous incidents and repeated offers of cooperation to get to the bottom of the question of which elements were behind them, India has been aggressive in its stance. And consistent with its hegemonic ambitions, it has adopted an intimidatory posture vainly hoping that Pakistan, already under so many pressures, would buckle under and be apologetic.
