Strong banking sector
July 2, 2008 STATE Bank Governor Dr Shamshad Akhtar unveiled a 10-year Financial Sector Strategy the other day, geared to help achieve a robust and stronger banking sector in the country. The Prime Minister was also present on the occasion where he reiterated the government’s desire to rectify the macroeconomic imbalances present in the country.
