Betrayal of Shaheed
June 4, 2008 Shaheed Benazir Bhutto during one of her rallies had proclaimed, "We will hoist the Pakistani flag on the house of Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry". Dozens of PPP workers laid their lives in bomb blasts and violence during such gatherings to promote the cause of restoration of judges. But Asif Ali Zardari, by backing out of his party's principled stand, has clearly and blatantly betrayed Shaheed Benazir Bhutto.
