The latest threat
August 19, 2008 Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has issued a threat that it would mount suicide attacks if the military operations in Swat do not cease. Such threats should be taken seriously.
The TTP is a terrorist organization, which is using innocent boys to carry out suicide attacks in the name of Islam. What kind of Islam is the TTP propagating? They have already held the people of Swat hostage through their actions. Only a military operation carried out with ruthless purposefulness can now restore peace in Swat.
