We need prompt relief
August 27, 2008 The unnecessary wrangling between the two parties on these issues would only add to the misery of the nation. The nation right now is hamstrung by many debilitating problems.
The key issues that need to be addressed on priority include inflation, poverty, unemployment, crime and terrorism. The poor and middle classes in particular need prompt and serious attention of the government, as they are unable to make the ends meet.
The government must take the following measures to improve the lot of the nation and restore trust that was shattered by the previous regime:
