Pinched from luggage
August 28, 2008 Sometime back my younger son was deprived of a digital camera that was pinched from his luggage while travelling from Lahore to UAE. Some effort was made to make the PIA management do something about it but nothing came of it. Now recently (on August 24), my elder son lost his handicam while travelling PIA.
The thief showed some pity this time and did not steal the cover and other accessories. There is a possibility that a gang of thieves in PIA luggage-handlers is bringing a bad name to the airline. -CH MEHBOOBULLAH, Lahore Cantt., via e-mail, August 26.
