Memories of forefathers
November 28, 2008 Every now and then, one comes across books in the old bookshops with handwritten comments of the authors, which they are given to do before presenting their book to someone close. In all likelihood, the next generation of recipients discard these autographed books as junk in housecleaning. One wonders why people sell the memories of their forefathers for a few rupees. -DR.
