He said justice could not be delivered to people unless the judiciary was independent, rule of law prevailed and the Constitution ruled supreme in the governance.

PAK ARMY’S MARTYRED MAJOR LAID TO REST

The funeral of Daska city based Pak Army’s Major Ziaul Haq was held at Shaheedan Graveyard Daska here on Thursday.

Hundreds of people including high-ranking Pak Army officials attended the funeral. Later, the deceased was laid to rest.

Earlier, the army troops saluted the deceased Ziaul Haq with cannons and guns before his burial with full official protocol.

Daska city based Major Ziaul Haq was martyred during an armed attack on army troops by some unknown miscreants near Sawat two days ago.

He has left behind a widow, a minor daughter and 18-day-old son.
