Pakistan urges int'l community to held avert conflict in sub-continent

UNITED NATIONS - Amid escalating tensions between India and Pakistan in wake of the terrorist attacks in Indian city of Mumbai, Pakistan has urged the international community to play its role in averting a conflict in South Asia.
