3 more civilians fall prey to Swat operation
By Essa Khan Khel August 2, 2008 On the other hand Taliban fighters have set on fire Girls Schools at Mangalawar and Kishawara areas. The militants have also set on fire police check post in Kishawara village on Malam Jabba road.
The authorities concerned have relaxed the curfew hours from 10.00 a.m. till 3.00 p.m., to enable the people to get items of daily use and goods from bazaars. All government offices and business centres in the area remained closed. Thousands of vehicles including those loaded with fresh fruit for other main cities and towns throughout the country were stranded all over Swat District.
Staff Reporter from Khar adds: Unknown militants picked up two personnel of Bajaur Levies Forces from a check post in Jaar and shifted them to an unknown place in early hours of Friday.
