Brown offers role to defuse tension
By HAQ NAWAZ December 2, 2008 ISLAMABAD - The British Prime Minister Gordon Brown Monday offered Pakistan to help defuse the tension with India, which escalated after last week’s Mumbai carnage.
In a telephonic conversation with President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Brown extended services of his government to help reduce tension between India and Pakistan as a result of the recent developments.
