More terrorists nabbed in Swat

Islamabad - Security forces have apprehended 44 terrorists along with one suicide jacket and a large number of ammunition in South Waziristan and Swat-Malakand region during the past 24 hours.
In South Waziristan, the security forces carried out sanitisation and consolidation of their positions around Warike Jani Khel and Sein Tanga in Jandola Sector. They also carried out search and clearance operation at Tank and apprehended 3 terrorists along with 1 suicide jacket.
In Shakai Sector, security forces carried out search and clearance operations at Kaniguram, Kikrai, cleared 250 houses, 20 compounds and recovered cache of arms and ammunition. In Razmak Sector, security forces carried out search and clearance operation near Pash Ziarat and cleared a number of compounds.
Terrorists fired, using small arms, at security forces check post at Golden Top near Pash Ziarat, which was responded to effectively. A total of 27,835 Cash Cards have been issued to displaced families of Waziristan.
Meanwhile, in Swat-Malakand, security forces have conducted search and clearance operation at Khawazakhela, Alpurai, Aligrama, Kabbal, Nawagai and apprehended 15 terrorists. Moreover, a huge cache of arms and ammunition were also recovered.
Security forces conducted search operation in Khairabad near Fatehpur, Gulkada near Mingora and apprehended 26 suspects. Five terrorists voluntarily surrendered themselves to security forces at Gwalerai, Jowar and Waliabad.
