Militants have a field day
LANDI KOTAL - Two persons were killed and a girls high school was blown up by miscreants here on Sunday. In the first incident, unidentified miscreant fired a mortar at the house of Bahadar Afridi, a tribesman, in tehsil Landi Kotal, which resulted in the death of his son Saud and grandson Liaqat.
In Sepha, tehsil Bara, outlaws blew up Girls High School Karigar, Gari Bara. The blast also damaged four adjacent houses.
The insurgents also exploded an explosive device with remote control at the entrance of local councillor Israr Afridis hujra. The blast left the gate and a transformer partially damaged. No causality was reported. The political administration filed FIR against unknown miscreants.
