No threat to govt if 'N' quits: Mukhtar

He paid tributes to overseas Pakistanis for contributing to the prosperity of Pakistan. The foreign exchange they remitted back home was of great importance to the country, he said. He suggested that they should also provide modern technology to their homeland to further accelerate its economic progress.

Talking about his recent meetings with US officials, Mukhtar said he had urged them to help in putting up industries in Pakistan’s tribal areas to provide jobs to the people so as to bring prosperity to the region that, in turn, would effectively combat terrorism.
