Driver killed in attack on Nato oil tanker

QUETTA - A driver of a tanker carrying oil for the NATO forces in Afghanistan was killed and another person sustained injuries in an armed attack at Lakpass area of Mastung District on Tuesday night.
According to sources, unidentified men armed with sophisticated weapons opened indiscriminate fire on the oil tanker, which was travelling on the National Highway near Laskpass area. Resultantly, driver of the tanker, identified as Haq Nawaz, received critical wounds and succumbed to his injuries while another person Ajmal sustained serious wounds. The attackers escaped from the site under the cover of darkness after committing the crime. The injured and deceased were shifted to Quetta.
Meanwhile, two rockets were fired on the camp of a gas company in provincial capital Quetta on Tuesday, but caused no damaged.
According to details, unknown persons fired two rockets on the camp of Mari Gas Company.
