ISLAMABAD (Online) An amount of $5 million would be spent on Inquiry Commission of the United Nations probing the assassination of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto.
A senior government official told a British Newspaper that $3m will be paid by Pakistan while the US and the UAE would pay the remaining amount.
He said the UN Commission after completing its report in the month of March would present it to the Government of Pakistan, adding that the Commission would pay another visit to the country.
It is noted that the UN Commission had to present its report on December 31 but UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon extended the tenure of the commission till March.
