All TV transmissions went off-air at 6:00am on Sunday, in the city. Local cable operators said that they suspended their services of TV transmissions as protest to condemn the frequent incidents of damaging their cables which cause financial losses to them.

The operators demanded of the govt to arrest the culprits involved in the damaging of cable wires in the city.
