Complete shutterdown in Quetta

QUETTA - The business and trade activities remained suspended in the provincial capital and many other parts of Balochistan due to complete shutter-down strike on Thursday against the on-going military drive in Balochistan, delay in recovery of missing persons, increase in incidents of kidnapping of traders for ransom and deteriorating law and order situation in Balochistan.

The strike call was jointly given by Balochistan National Party (BNP) and Anjuman-i-Tajiran.

In Quetta, all the major business centres , markets at different roads including Jinnah Road, Abdul Sattar Road, Shara-i-Iqbal, Sariab Road, Brewry Road and Double Road remained closed throughout the day.
