Iftikhar not to lead lawyers' movement
Source: APP July 4, 2008 ISLAMABAD - Deposed Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammed Chaudhry on Thursday ruled out the notions that he would lead lawyers’ movement as appeared in a section of Press.
According to a Press release by Supreme Court Bar Association, the deposed CJ Iftikhar Mohammed Chaudhry told a lawyers’ delegation, which called on him, that he could not lead any movement, adding that constitutionally, he is still the Chief Justice of Pakistan.
