Foreign lady journalist held

DARYA KHAN (Online) -Darya Khan police on Friday arrested a foreign lady journalist and two other persons for visiting the area without having proper documents.
Turkish-born Sarnia, the correspondent of New York Times, along with two friends - Waqar Haider Gillani and Farid Ullah Ch - and local naib nazim (PML-N) Ghulam Ali came to Muhallah Moti Masjid to interviewthe family of engineer M Asif Ansari, an alleged terrorist involved in bomb blast at Rescue 15 Lahore. Incharge Darya Khan Police Station Tariq Ahmad with a heavy contingent rushed to the spot and asked her to show journalists documents which she could not produce. On that, police arrested her and later expelled her from the district.
