Minimum deterrence a priority, says Gilani
Source: Our Staff Reporter November 4, 2008 ISLAMABAD - Reaffirming Pakistan’s stance for maintaining a minimum credible deterrence through conventional and strategic capabilities, Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani said that Pakistan being an important country in the region was playing a critical role for the peace and stability in the region as well as the world at large.
The Prime Minister said this while talking to General Tariq Majeed, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee here at the PM’s House Tuesday afternoon.
