Pakistan, China likely to reach N-energy deal

ISLAMABAD - Pakistan and China are expected to reach a vital agreement on nuclear energy cooperation soon under which Beijing will help and support Islamabad to set up at least four new power plants to meet its fast growing energy needs.

President Pervez Musharraf, who leaves today (Wednesday) for China to attend the opening ceremony of Beijing Olympics scheduled for August 8, will also have meetings with top Chinese leadership on the important issue of nuclear energy cooperation and other bilateral matters.
