Gas pipeline blown up
QUETTA - Unknown armed people blew up a gas pipeline with explosives on Kirani Road here on Wednesday night, said police.
According to police, unknown armed people had fitted explosives with a gas pipeline on Kirani Road. The explosives went off blowing up gas pipeline and suspending gas supply to the area.
"Pipeline will be repaired within two days following which gas supply to Kirani and adjoining areas will be restored soon", said SSGC officials.
Meanwhile, spokesman of Baloch Republican Army (BRA) identifying himself Sarbaaz Baloch calling from undisclosed location via satellite phone claimed responsibility of blowing up gas pipeline.
According to police, unknown armed people had fitted explosives with a gas pipeline on Kirani Road. The explosives went off blowing up gas pipeline and suspending gas supply to the area.
"Pipeline will be repaired within two days following which gas supply to Kirani and adjoining areas will be restored soon", said SSGC officials.
