US drone crashes near Kharan
October 5, 2008 KHARAN (PPI) - A US drone crashed in the mountains near Kharan on Sunday.
According to details, an unmanned US spy plane crashed in the mountains of Kharan and Washuk near Shamsi airport.
The airport is about 120km southwest of Kharan, which is being used by the American forces. The drone crashed in the wee hours on Sunday and its wreckage was found in the mountains. It was shifted to Shamsi airport.
