UN chief deplores flogging of Swat girl

UNITED NATIONS - UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon Monday deplored the public flogging of as young girl in Swat that was video recorded.
"The Secretary-General is extremely concerned about all cases of violence against women," his spokesperson Michele Montas said in response to a question at a regular briefing.
