Ultimatum given to militants

The oil tanker bearing registration No 2811-Pes-J, was on its way from Afghanistan to Peshawar, and when it reached near Landikotal bazaar by-pass, some unknown people put petrol on it and set it on fire.

The oil tanker was completely destroyed. No one has claimed the responsibility of the incident so far. Political Administration arrested the driver of oil tanker.

It merits mentioning here that 'Sirat-e-Mustaqeem' operation against the militants had reached its final phase in Bara Tehsil in which dozens of militants had been arrested and their many centres had been destroyed.
