Earlier, talking to media representatives here at Karachi airport after his arrival, Aitzaz Ahsan admitted that pressure maintained by lawyers on govt has eased after some deposed judges took fresh oath.
He said judges who took fresh oath have admitted that they were rightly been sacked.
The ongoing movement for the free judiciary is not the movement of the lawyers, however, it is also people's movement, because the people of the country need independent judiciary aimed for getting easy justice, he added.
SCBA President said 60 judges can be arrested in the future if such thing continued to happen. He said that functional judiciary could only be seen with the reinstatement of deposed Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry.
Ahsan also agreed that fresh appointment of some deposed judges had eased the pressure on the govt. He felt that poor people of Pakistan needed independent judiciary.
He said that the lawyers would not compromise over the independence of judiciary and will continue their movement till achieving their goal.
He said that Justice Ifikhar Muhammad Chaudhry is still the Constitutional Chief Justice of Pakistan.
He said that he had never thought to compromise with the ongoing movement initiated for independence of judiciary.
