Parties want president to be apolitical

ISLAMABAD - The leaders of PML-N and PML-Q have felicitated the PPP Co-Chairman, Asif Ali Zardari on his election as the President of Pakistan.
Talking to journalists here on Saturday, the PML-N Presidential Candidate Saeeduzzaman Siddiqui said that election was held in a very peaceful manner.
“PML-N accepts the results and now need of the hour is to address the challenges being faced by the country,” he added.
