Prices raised by 40pc in four months, Senate told

ISLAMABAD - Leader of the House in Senate, Senator Raza Rabbani Thursday told the House that government had taken serious notice of Dr Aafia’s case besides the matter of other missing persons.

Responding to points of order over the issue, he alleged the previous government for handing over Dr Aafia to US. However, he said the Foreign Minister was in regular contact with US authorities for providing her all possible help.

Rabbani informed the House that the Interior Ministry had formed a committee for the recovery of all the missing persons, including those, he said, who had been picked up on political grounds in Balochistan. He also assured to inform the House about the proceedings of Dr Aafia’s case, which is being heard in US.
