Miliband postpones visit

ISLAMABAD - British Foreign Secretary David Miliband telephoned Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Monday to inform about the postponement of his June 10-12 visit to Pakistan.
The British Foreign Secretary told Qureshi that he had decided to put off his visit owing to important departmental responsibilities and parliamentary commitments in the United Kingdom.
He stated that Pakistan remained the top foreign policy priority for the United Kingdom, according to Foreign Office statement. It said new dates for the visit of Miliband would be worked out in the near future.
