Army valuable asset: Zardari
ISLAMABAD (Online) - Terming the Pak Army as a valuable asset of the nation, President Asif Ali Zardari has promised to fulfil its requirements.
Talking to COAS Gen Ashfaq Pervez Kayani at the Presidency, he also lauded Armys great role in the fight against terrorism.
The COAS briefed the president about his tour to Afghanistan and discussed various professional issues, internal and external situation besides other important matters.
During the interaction, the ongoing operation against extremists in the Afghan province of Helmand was also reviewed.
