Airplane escapes disaster

LAHORE - Peshawar bound Flight PK 350 made emergency landing at Allama Iqbal International Airport (AIIA) due to engine failure at 10:15 pm on Sunday.
The said flight had flown from Karachi for Peshawar but when it reached near Lahore, one of its two engines failed due to which pilot was directed to land at the airport in the metropolis.
The plane carrying around 200 passengers made emergency landing safely without injuries to any of the passengers or crewmembers.
PIA, however, managed to transport the passengers to Peshawar through alternate flight. The plane has been grounded at AIIA for necessary repairs.
