Foreigners among 20 killed in Bajaur

APP adds: At least five pro-Taliban militants were killed and 27 miscreants were arrested by security forces during the on going operation in Darra Adam Khel tribal area of FR Kohat, security officials said.

They said security forces targeted militants with artillery and pounded suspected hideouts of miscreants in Tor Chapar, Akhurwal and Peerwal Khel areas, killing five militants and 27 militants surrendered before security forces.

Meanwhile, at least three security personnel were injured when security forces clashed with militants in Sheen Dhand tribal area of Kohat district.

The injured security men were identified as Noor Shah Gul, Gul Rasool and Nisar. They were shifted to CMH hospital Kohat.

Likewise, a security convoy was targeted with a remote control bomb in Abbas area of Dara Adam Khel. However, no loss to life was reported in the incident.

Issa Khanhail from Swat adds: At least 18 militants have been arrested in Gul Jabba area of Tehsil Kabal during a search operation by the security forces while the houses of four other militants have been destroyed, ISPR sources revealed here on Wednesday.   

According to the sources, the security forces launched door-to-door search operation on Wednesday morning, in which 18 Taliban militants, including their some important commanders, were arrested. They also said that the security forces also blew up four houses of the alleged Taliban militants with explosive material.

Security forces also targeted the suspected hideouts of the militants in Teghak, Totano Banda area in Tehsil Kabal as result of which four civilian were injured. Later, they were shifted to Saidu Sharif Hospital.
