Pak diplomat meets Aafia Siddiqui
Source: Special Correspondent August 10, 2008 NEW YORK - A senior Pakistani Embassy diplomat, who met with Aafia Siddqui in the Brooklyn detention center on Saturday, assured her that the embassy would make all possible efforts to ensure that her rights as an under-trial prisoner were respected.
Counsellor Faqir Syed Asif Hussain had 2-1/2-hour meeting with Ms Siddiqui after United States authorities allowed him consular access to the detainee.
