SRINAGAR (AFP) - Suspected freedom fighters attacked a police station in Indian Kashmir on Tuesday, killing one policeman, an official said.
So far one police constable is dead and exchange of fire is continuing, police spokesman Faisal Qayoom told AFP. Last month, two gunmen threw grenades and opened fire in Srinagars main market area before holding up in a guesthouse where they held off commandos for nearly 24 hours, before being shot dead.
