Two cops shot dead in Mardan
Source: APP July 10, 2008 PESHAWAR - Armed persons attacked a police mobile van, which left two policemen and handcuffed accused dead near Mardan Medical Complex on main Noshera-Mardan road, said DPO Mardan.
Constables Qamar and Abdul Qadar were taking accused Arshad alias Javed for production before a local court in Mardan in kidnapping for ransom case.
The killers believed to be the rivals of the accused ambushed the vehicle and shot dead the accused along with two policemen, DPO Tahir told this agency.
