At least 25 dead, 70 injured in bus-trailer collision near Lodhran

At least 25 passengers were killed, while 48 others wounded when a Lodhran-to-Dunyapur bus collided with a trailer near Lodhran on Friday. 20 students, 4 women and a child died in this accident, DPO said. According to sources, the accident happened when Dunyapur-bound passenger bus collided with a trailer due to overtaking near Lodhran, killing at least 25 people and injuring 70 others. DPO Lodhran confirmed that 25 people were killed in the accident. Sources said that a large number of people were traveling in the bus. Meanwhile, most of the injured are reportedly children who are in critical condition. The process of identification of dead bodies’ was initiated in the hospital.
