DG ISI gets extension for one year

The government has extended the tenure of Director-General of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), Lt-Gen Ahmad Shuja Pasha, for a period of one year, reported a private TV channel Wednesday, quoting its sources.
According to sources, the decision was taken after the satisfactory performance of the ISI in the war against terrorism. Ahmed Shuja Pasha is going to retire on March 18. A summary for his extension has been sent to the President.
