JUI-F wins Lakki by-poll
LAKKI MARWAT JUI-F candidate Naseer Muhammad Khan has won the by-elections for PF-75 (Lakki Marwat-II) with a heavy margin.
According to unofficial results, 26,093 votes were polled out of total 88,636 registered votes. The overall turnout of the polled votes was 29.44 percent. Naseer Khan, backed by Marwat Qaumi Jirga and influential Saifullahs, secured 12,712 votes.
Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf (PTI) candidate Khan Bahadar Marwat got 4730 votes. Dr Matiullah of Jamat-e-Islami got 1797 votes while Dr Rashid Ahmad of PPP grabbed 649 votes. Similarly, Farmanullah affiliated with Pakistan Bachao Party secured 28 votes.
