Two Nato containers torched in Mastung

Unidentified miscreants attacked and set ablaze two Nato containers here Wednesday carrying supplies to Western forces in Afghanistan.
According to Levies sources, two Afghanistan bound Nato containers coming from Karachi, came under attack in Ganji Douri area of Mastung as they were on their way to Chaman.
The militants first opened fire at the containers with heavy and automatic weapons and then set them ablaze.
Drivers and helpers of the containers remained unhurt in the incident but the tankers were burnt completely as fire brigade facility was not available in Mastung.
Tehsildar Mastung with Levies personnel reached the scene and search operation was launched after cordoning off the area but no arrest was made.
A case has also been registered against unidentified miscreants in Wali Khan Police Station and investigation was in progress.
