Suicide bomber hits Peshawar stadium

PESHAWAR - At least four persons were killed and over 50 injured as a result of a suicide attack on the main gate of Khan Quyoom Stadium in Peshawar on Tuesday. A player from Dera Ismail Khan was amongst the killed.

The suicide attack was perpetrated a few moments after the concluding ceremony of the 3rd Inter-Provincial Games. NWFP Governor Awais Ghani along with Senior Provincial Minister Bashir Ahmad Bilour and Information Minister Mian Iftikhar Hussain had left the stadium a little before the suicide attack.
