CDWP sanctions 47 schemes of Rs 50.1 billion
By SHAHBAZ RANA October 11, 2008 ISLAMABAD - The government has approved 47 development schemes with an estimated cost of Rs 50.1 billion, which would be completed during the next three to eight years.
Central Development Working Party, headed by Deputy Chairman Planning Commission M Salman Faruqui, approved these projects here Saturday.
Some of the schemes would cost over Rs 500m, which have been recommended to Executive Committee of National Economic Council, chaired by Prime Minister, for final consideration.
