By SPECIAL CORRESPONDENT October 11, 2008

WASHINGTON - Pakistan is looking to get close to $3 billion in loans from international financial institutions released by the end of the fiscal year - as the country acts to shore up its budget, State Bank of Pakistan chief has said.
